We proudly support over 2,500 paying customers and have consistently tripled our revenue each year since inception.While our primary hiring locations are in San Francisco and New York, we do offer remote work opportunities in select cases.About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and visionary Founding Head of People to shape, establish, and drive the People function at Numeral.This pivotal role encompasses both 0→1 and 1→N initiatives. You will join a rapidly growing organization with exceptional talent and momentum, yet lacking the formal people systems necessary for our current scale, including compensation frameworks, performance management, and career path structures.Collaborating closely with the executive team and functional leaders, you will professionalize our hiring, compensation, development, and talent retention processes, while maintaining the agility and high standards that have brought us to this point.This position requires a blend of strategic foresight and hands-on execution. You will set the strategic direction while also constructing foundational programs, policies, and practices that will define Numeral for years to come.Key ResponsibilitiesPeople Strategy & LeadershipAct as the senior People leader and trusted advisor to the executive team.Translate company strategy, growth plans, and ARR targets into a comprehensive People roadmap.Gradually build a scalable People organization encompassing recruiting, operations, total rewards, and learning & development while remaining hands-on initially.Develop a robust operating rhythm around headcount planning, workforce composition (FTE vs. contractor), and organizational structuring.Recruiting & Talent ScalingOversee the full-cycle recruiting strategy for engineering, product, GTM, and operations.Collaborate with executives and hiring managers on workforce planning, role specifications, leveling, and hiring standards.Establish a sustainable recruiting infrastructure, including ATS and interviewer training.
