About the Role The Risk Automation ML team is at the forefront of automating Risk and Compliance investigations and decision-making processes at Block through cutting-edge agentic and generative AI technologies. Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams globally, we strive to ensure a secure user experience while effectively mitigating adverse activities on our platform. Utilizing agentic and generative AI as core components of our strategy, Block's machine learning systems analyze billions of payment transactions across both traditional payment and blockchain networks, identifying suspicious activities such as fraud and brand violations for review by trained Operations analysts. We are enhancing investigator workflows using generative AI, allowing analysts to work more efficiently and make quicker, more informed decisions. Additionally, we automate end-to-end workflows, removing the necessity for manual reviews. This is an exceptional opportunity to innovate and optimize Risk Operations at Block on a large scale. As an Individual Contributor in this senior position, you will hold significant leadership responsibilities, driving strategic roadmaps and priorities to fruition while working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders. (This position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States and Canada)
