You will oversee various operational aspects, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising. Collaboration is key as you work with your team to achieve store objectives and foster their professional development. Please note that weekly hours will be adjusted to 32 or fewer based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Exceed personal and store sales targets while serving as a positive role model for your team and nurturing their sales skills.
- Formulate and execute effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth, ensuring an outstanding customer experience while meeting key performance metrics.
- Carefully gather and manage customer information, including phone numbers, emails, and physical addresses.
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to promptly identify and address customer needs and concerns.
- Possess a thorough understanding of store merchandise, pricing structures, and the layout of the sales floor and stockroom.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and visual merchandising to create an inviting shopping atmosphere.
- Demonstrate proficiency with various technology systems, including POS, CRM applications, and inventory management software.
- Implement inventory security measures in line with the company’s loss prevention strategies.
- Strictly adhere to all operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth and secure store operations.
Requirements:
- Previous retail management experience, with at least 1 year in an Assistant Manager role is preferred.
- A results-driven individual with a strong focus on sales, capable of leading and coaching team members to success.
- A positive, energetic, and friendly personality with a proactive approach to customer interactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement with customers and corporate partners.
- Comfortable with technology, including retail POS systems, Microsoft Office, and email.
- Ability to lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 40 pounds and comfortable using ladders or stairs.
- Proven experience in coaching and mentoring employees, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
