Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage Cosmo’s Atlassian Cloud environment, ensuring Jira, Confluence, and associated services are dependable, user-friendly, and scalable. Design, configure, and maintain Jira workflows, issue types, fields, screens, permission schemes, and notification schemes in line with Cosmo’s operational framework. Implement and sustain workflows for intake, prioritization, and release support as defined by Delivery and Engineering leadership. Develop and maintain automation using Jira Automation and JQL to enhance data quality, enforce mandatory fields, and minimize manual coordination efforts. Establish and maintain integrations between the Atlassian platform and tools such as Slack, GitHub, and CI/CD systems to enhance communication and visibility. Create and maintain dashboards and reports that indicate delivery health, signals of release readiness, intake volume, and compliance with workflows. Proactively identify inefficiencies in workflows, data discrepancies, and usability challenges, proposing meaningful improvements. Evaluate, implement, and manage Atlassian Marketplace apps and third-party integrations that provide tangible benefits. Document and establish best practices and governance standards for Atlassian to ensure consistency while avoiding excessive processes. Provide documentation and support to encourage adoption and optimal usage across Engineering and Product teams.

About the Role

Role Summary: Cosmo is in search of a skilled Atlassian Administrator to manage and enhance our Atlassian Cloud environment, ensuring it meets the needs of our engineering and product teams in planning, prioritization, and execution of work. This role will involve designing scalable workflows, implementing automation, and creating integrations that improve productivity, minimize reactive tasks, and enhance visibility across Engineering, Product, Customer Service, and Delivery teams.

You will be responsible for the configuration and advancement of our Atlassian setup and its connections with tools like Slack, GitHub, and elements of our AWS and CI/CD infrastructure, guaranteeing that these systems work seamlessly to provide clear, low-effort insights into delivery health and release readiness.

This position is expected to require 20 hours of work per week, with the potential to increase to 30 hours during peak periods. Compensation for this role is set at $30 per hour.
