About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper who possesses substantial expertise in QuickBooks and a comprehensive understanding of UK tax regulations, including VAT, CIS, PAYE, and all HMRC requirements.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and capable of maintaining financial records with exceptional accuracy and compliance. This position is part-time, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep precise and current financial records utilizing QuickBooks.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely invoice processing and payments.
- Regularly reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Prepare and file VAT returns, CIS statements, and PAYE reports in accordance with UK tax laws.
- Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee payments and deductions.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as necessary.
- Support end-of-year financials and collaborate with accountants or auditors when required.
- Ensure adherence to all HMRC deadlines and regulations.
- Provide clear communication and financial insights to management.
