We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Learner (EL) Teacher to provide essential instructional support to our diverse student body. This part-time role requires 20-25 hours per week and is integral to our mission of fostering equity and personalized education.

Reporting To: School Director
FLSA Classification: Certificated, 188-day
Position Status: Hourly, part-time, non-exempt
Regular/Temporary: Regular
Salary: Ranges from $64,735.44 to $115,369.76, commensurate with experience and education.

Job Summary:
The EL Teacher will work under the direction of the School Director to provide tailored instructional support for students identified as English Learners. Responsibilities include co-teaching, small group instruction, and collaboration with classroom teachers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion while modeling culturally responsive pedagogy. Additionally, the EL Teacher will conduct required assessments, monitor student progress, and engage in outreach and professional development activities.

Duties Include:
- Understanding research on the development of EL students and ELD standards.
- Implementing effective instructional strategies and supports for English Learners.
- Conducting assessments and monitoring student growth.
- Participating in outreach communications and ELAC committees.
