Role Overview: Payments Analyst
The Payments Analyst joins the Payments Team within CurrencyFair’s global support function in Dublin. This role centers on supporting seamless and compliant customer transactions, with responsibility for monitoring transaction flows and upholding regulatory and company standards.
What You Will Do
- Process end-to-end customer transactions accurately and efficiently, in line with operational and market schedules.
- Reconcile incoming payments and outgoing transfers, manually resolve discrepancies, spot trends in automation failures, and suggest improvements.
- Investigate outstanding transaction items within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Handle payment instructions from both internal and external sources using various banking platforms.
- Communicate with customers, banking partners, and internal teams by email and phone.
- Complete tasks with precision, meeting compliance requirements and team SLAs and KPIs.
- Manage foreign exchange (FX) transactions.
- Monitor daily liquidity with input from multiple banking partners.
- Support external service providers, including both banking and non-banking partners.
- Assist Product and Engineering teams with testing new product features as needed.
- Open and close FX markets when required.
What You Bring
- Professional experience in financial services, especially in reconciliation, cash management, payments, or foreign exchange operations (required).
- Strong skills in MS Excel, particularly for reconciliation work.
- Attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in working with a range of stakeholders.
