This includes creatively planning to seek and acquire various services for those you support.You will meet with individuals in their communities or residences to design and refine their Individual Program Plans, assess their needs, identify barriers to achieving developmental goals, and ensure proper regional center funding is initiated and managed. You will also prepare necessary documentation and maintain records in compliance with federal and state standards.In your advocacy role, you will support individuals and their families in accessing their entitled services and rights while encouraging active participation in utilizing available community resources. Furthermore, you will initiate referrals, monitor the progress of services, and work towards identifying and addressing gaps in community service needs.You may also be tasked with providing intake and outreach services and participating in internal and community committees as assigned.
