Your Contribution

The Physical Security Program Coordinator is a senior-level individual contributor who will spearhead the execution, coordination, and ongoing enhancement of vital corporate security initiatives within Axon, focusing primarily on Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).

This role operates with significant autonomy and responsibility, overseeing comprehensive security programs through structured governance, documentation, risk analysis, and cross-departmental collaboration. While not a managerial position, it is crucial for achieving program objectives, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring security measures are effectively implemented and audit-ready.

The Coordinator acts as the primary liaison for security GRC efforts, training programs, risk oversight, and program infrastructure, collaborating closely with Legal, Compliance, IT, Facilities, HR, Events, and regional security teams.

Your Daily Responsibilities

Security Program Execution & GRC Facilitation
• Oversee daily operations and sustainability of enterprise security programs, including governance, risk management, compliance tracking, training, documentation, and reporting.
• Assist in designing, maintaining, and continuously optimizing security policies, standards, procedures, and playbooks in alignment with regulatory and business mandates.
• Conduct and manage security risk assessments, gap analyses, and mitigation strategies across facilities, programs, and initiatives.
• Develop and manage metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems to enhance leadership visibility and decision-making.

Security GRC, Compliance & Risk Oversight
• Be a vital contributor to security GRC initiatives, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Audit teams to fulfill regulatory, contractual, and internal obligations.
• Organize security-related audits, evaluations, and evidence gathering sessions, ensuring that documentation is precise, thorough, and audit-ready.
• Maintain the security risk register and other essential documentation.
