Role overview
The Physical Security Technology Manager, based in Chicago, manages and expands Box’s global Physical Security technology stack. This role oversees both hardware and software for security systems, serving as the subject matter expert for physical security infrastructure across all Box offices.
What you will do
- Monitor and maintain the health of Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and Video Management Systems (VMS) worldwide, including tasks such as firmware checks, password rotation, and conducting system and user audits.
- Support the operational readiness of Box’s Physical Security technology systems and coordinate expansion to new office locations.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all security assets, planning for updates and refreshes as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maximize system uptime and reliability.
- Lead projects focused on improving security infrastructure and integrating systems with other platforms.
