BenchMark Physical Therapy, part of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician for its Winston-Salem, NC clinic. This role supports both Physical and Occupational Therapists in delivering care to patients. The position is unlicensed and follows all state guidelines and company procedures.
Role overview
Physical Therapy Technicians help create a positive experience for patients and staff. Organization and attention to detail are important in this role, as technicians prepare treatment areas, assist during therapy sessions, and keep the clinic running smoothly.
Main responsibilities
- Prepare therapy equipment and set up treatment spaces before patient appointments.
- Assist and observe patients during exercises, recording responses as directed.
- Apply basic treatments, such as ice packs or heat pads, under supervision.
- Maintain clean equipment and therapy areas, handle laundry, and change linens.
- Support administrative tasks, including patient intake, answering phones, and scheduling.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the clinic team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clear communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Comfort using computers and learning new software quickly.
