Role Overview:
- The Physical Therapy Technician is an integral part of our clinic, working under the direct supervision of licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists.
- This role involves adhering to state regulations and our company protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Success in this position requires exceptional organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions.
- Assist patients during therapy exercises, documenting their progress and responses.
- Administer basic treatments such as ice and heat applications as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing therapy areas and equipment, including laundering linens.
- Support administrative tasks like patient intake, phone inquiries, and appointment scheduling.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills are a must.
- Strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with computer systems and adaptability to new software.
