Role Overview:
- The Physical Therapy Technician is an essential support role, working under the guidance of licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists.
- Adhering to state regulations and company protocols, the technician plays a vital role in enhancing patient experiences.
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail are critical for delivering top-notch patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions.
- Assist patients in performing prescribed therapy exercises, documenting their progress effectively.
- Administer basic treatments such as applying ice and heat as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing equipment and therapy spaces, and handling linens appropriately.
- Support administrative tasks, including patient intake, scheduling, and answering calls.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Computer proficiency and a willingness to learn new software.
