Role Overview:
- The Physical Therapy Technician is an essential unlicensed role that operates under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist.
- Adherence to state regulations and company protocols is crucial, ensuring that all operations align with the Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy Practice Acts.
- We are looking for individuals with strong organizational abilities and a keen attention to detail to enhance our patient care experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment equipment and areas for patient therapy sessions.
- Assist and observe patients as they perform prescribed exercises, documenting their responses to treatment.
- Administer basic treatments, including applying ice packs and heat pads, as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing equipment and therapy spaces, and ensuring linens are laundered.
- Support administrative tasks such as patient intake, managing phone communications, and scheduling appointments.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to contribute to the clinic's success.
