Role overview
The Physics AI Training Specialist creates challenging physics problems designed to push the boundaries of current AI capabilities. Each problem must have one clear, correct answer, along with a carefully checked solution. This role focuses on technical rigor and clarity.
What you will do
- Design complex physics problems for AI training and evaluation.
- Write questions that have a single, unambiguous solution.
- Develop detailed, step-by-step solutions with clear reasoning.
- Craft problems that require deep physical insight and multi-step analysis.
- Use Python or specialized tools to build simulations, models, or computational workflows when needed.
- Ensure all work meets high standards for technical accuracy, reproducibility, and clear English.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Physics or a closely related field.
- Significant research or industry experience in theoretical, experimental, or computational physics.
- Fluency in Python and familiarity with scientific libraries such as NumPy and SciPy.
- Strong grasp of modeling, simulation, numerical methods, and complex problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to create original, challenging problems that reflect real-world physics scenarios.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong technical writing skills in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with advanced computational tools and methods.
- Background in educational content development or training data creation.
