Your Role and Impact
As a Platform Engineer on the Release team, you will oversee the software delivery pipeline, directly influencing the way Mollie delivers products to our extensive client base. Our commitment to reliability is paramount, and you will be instrumental in ensuring that our software is deployed securely and dependably, with robust rollback mechanisms in case of any issues.

You will lead efforts to elevate Mollie’s reliability standards to the highest levels for our critical services. Operating in a GitOps environment, you will take charge of our continuous delivery platform, tackle intricate infrastructure challenges, and spearhead initiatives to implement canary deployments and feature flags across all vital services by year-end.

What You Will Deliver

  • Continuous Delivery Excellence: Ensure the scalability, reliability, and availability of our CD platform and supporting infrastructure leveraging GitLab, Argo CD, and GitOps methodologies.

  • Advanced Deployment Strategies: Design, implement, and refine deployment strategies, leading our ambitious timeline to roll out canary deployments and feature flags throughout the organization.

  • Reliability & Uptime: Advocate for high operational standards, contributing directly to Mollie's strategic objectives of achieving 4 to 4.5 nines of uptime for our critical services.

  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Implement effective monitoring and alerting protocols to identify issues proactively. Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve complex system challenges to maintain optimal performance.
