We are looking for a Plumbing Design Project Manager to join our vibrant MEP+L Systems engineering team. In this role, you will engage in a culture that emphasizes collaboration, technical mastery, and ongoing professional development. The successful candidate will work on diverse projects, partnering with cross-disciplinary teams across our studios in California and Texas to deliver high-performance, community-centric designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and oversight of comprehensive plumbing drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documentation in collaboration with internal teams, architects, clients, and consultants.

  • Direct plumbing design initiatives and coordinate with other disciplines to establish requirements for plumbing systems, equipment, and materials throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Oversee the design of fire protection systems in compliance with the Authority Having Jurisdiction.

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of design standards and code requirements pertaining to plumbing and fire protection systems.

  • Contribute to diverse projects of varying scales and complexities, including large-scale undertakings that incorporate emerging industry technologies.

  • Develop innovative plumbing design solutions utilizing sound judgment; assess alternative options and implement effective strategies.
