Collaborate with engineering teams for effective problem-solving. Right Sizing: Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to foresee future database needs and ensure scalability. Automate sizing processes to accommodate growth. Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies. Utilize observability data to identify trends and potential problems. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to understand application requirements and provide insight on database-related matters. Automation: Implement automation solutions for repetitive tasks and performance monitoring, streamlining processes and improving efficiency. Maintain automated solutions for continuous workload analysis at scale, enabling proactive issue identification. Best Practices & Documentation: Develop best practices for database architecture, configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
