About Our Team
You will be joining our dynamic Charging Team, which is dedicated to creating global charging solutions tailored to customer requirements while minimizing operational costs and ensuring high-performance electric flight. Our team collaborates closely with aircraft engineering, energy systems, and commercial teams to develop charging systems that are safe, certifiable, and scalable.
Your Role
As a Power Electronics Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in defining and implementing the power and energy systems that underpin Valo's global charging infrastructure. Your responsibilities will encompass creating high-power DC charging systems and integrating battery management solutions for grid operations, taking ownership from initial requirements to real-world implementation.
You will be part of a fast-paced team pioneering a new industry, with ample opportunity to innovate and elevate standards.
Your Responsibilities
Define technical specifications for charging power and energy storage systems
Lead the assessment and integration of power conversion and grid-interface solutions
Develop and manage test plans to ensure performance, safety, and compliance
Collaborate cross-functionally with aircraft, systems, and supply chain teams to guarantee seamless delivery
Address technical challenges and foster continuous improvement in charging system design
Support global infrastructure deployment in alignment with customer and regulatory requirements
