Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead hardware and software integration as well as development tests for high-performance aerospace power electronics (DC-DC, DC-AC, AC-DC) products.
  2. Specify, design, and execute electrical testing of product modules and boards utilized in airborne power conversion and distribution systems.
  3. Develop clear test plans and procedures, execute test cases, and produce test reports for board/module bring-up, design verification, and system integration. Additionally, support other testing activities, including end-of-line, environmental/electrical stress, and safety-of-flight tests.
  4. Oversee tester design from conception through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Maintain end-to-end ownership of tester hardware to characterize and validate the features, functions, and performance of complex high-voltage converters—covering specification, design, build, manufacturing, and operation.
    1. Create development test cases for modules and boards.
    2. Design test stations, addressing both hardware and software requirements.
    3. Manage test station build, bring-up, troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance.
    4. Consolidate, visualize, review, and analyze test station data.
  5. Perform failure analysis on modules/boards to identify root causes and lead cross-functional teams in developing solutions.
  6. Support flight test data review and analysis for airborne power electronics products.
  7. Drive continuous design and performance enhancements for power electronics products, providing constructive and precise feedback to the teams.
