Role Overview
As a Power Systems Engineer, you will collaborate closely with grid interconnection engineers, thermodynamics specialists, turbo-machinery experts, and hardware design engineers. Candidates should embrace flexibility in their roles and contribute to the startup's growth. We're looking for individuals with robust fundamentals and practical experience, including hands-on involvement with the hardware they've developed.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and size electrical systems for converting high power to grid-compatible electricity, including generators, inverters, and switchgear.
Evaluate and select suitable motors and generators, taking into account efficiency, cost, and reliability.
Utilize your career experience and knowledge of electrical engineering principles that inspired your journey in this field.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in all designs.
Conduct simulations and analyses to validate system performance.
Implement best practices and industry-standard simulation software.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues throughout the design, testing, and implementation phases.
