BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 1 year of experience in power converter development. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Hands-on experience in DC-DC power converter development. Familiarity with magnetics and designing custom transformers and inductors, including planar magnetics. Proficient in modeling, simulation, and testing of power electronics. Strong understanding of analog control and discrete logic design. Experience with voltage and current mode control and compensation design. Knowledge of AC-DC converters and power factor correction techniques. Expertise in various DC-DC topologies, with the ability to select optimal architectures and components. Understanding of design principles for fault tolerance and reliability. Familiarity with failure mode effects and critical analysis.
