A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must possess the physical capability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials in compliance with OSHA lifting guidelines. Familiarity with power tools, including torque wrenches and basic hand tools, is essential. Previous experience in a fast-paced, mass production, or manufacturing setting is preferred. The ability to stand and walk for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks is necessary. A strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to identify anomalies are crucial. Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions are required. Reliability in attendance and punctuality is expected. Must be able to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

About the job

  • As the Pre-Assembly Lead Operator, you will spearhead a dedicated team responsible for assembling components and products in accordance with detailed work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules.

  • Your role will involve the safe operation and handling of power tools and packaging instruments, including torque wrenches and various hand tools.

  • You will lead the setup and cleaning processes of assembly cells, utilizing overhead cranes and electric stackers.

  • It will be crucial to maintain consistent production output while upholding our rigorous quality standards.

  • Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections of assembled frames to ensure they meet quality specifications.

  • Strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols is required to foster a safe working environment.

  • You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

  • Effectively report any equipment malfunctions, safety issues, or quality defects to your team lead.

  • Work collaboratively with your team to achieve daily production targets.

  • Assist in loading and unloading assembly cells using an electric pallet mover.
