Qualifications

Education: Successfully completed bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering/mechatronics or a comparable field, with a clear intention to pursue a master's degree. Experience and Expertise: Initial experience in design, ideally with plastics and elastomers, along with strong CAD design skills (Creo/Windchill) and proficiency in drawing creation. Personality and Working Style: Strong analytical skills and technical understanding, demonstrating commitment, autonomy, reliability, and excellent communication skills. Passion: A deep enthusiasm for bicycle and display technology, striving to maximize our designs using CAD. Languages: Excellent command of German and English.

Join our PreMaster program at Bosch, where we seek motivated bachelor's graduates eager to integrate the theoretical foundations of a master's degree with practical corporate experience.

Your journey with us includes:

As part of our project teams, you'll play a pivotal role in developing the next generation of eBike displays, controls, and sensors. You'll gain insights into how robust, innovative, and cost-effective products are rapidly brought to market, significantly influencing their design.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • 3D design, drawings, and specifications for components—from initial requirements through to series production—allowing you to experience the complete product lifecycle.
  • Translating requirements into technical specifications, developing components in an international team, and ensuring a design that meets performance criteria through collaboration with simulation and validation teams.
  • Deepening your knowledge of development tools (FMEA, DRBFM, form and position tolerances), displays, hardware integration, and plastics technology.
  • Coordinating design packages, managing interfaces, and presenting your results in development committees. You'll be an active member of problem-solving teams, learning how successful collaboration works within an international team.
  • Collaborating with international suppliers to align designs and manufacturing processes while understanding the challenges of global development and production.
