Position Overview:
We are in search of a Principal Applied AI Engineer to tackle significant challenges across our product suite and internal systems. Utilizing a practical blend of software engineering, systems thinking, and artificial intelligence, you will develop innovative solutions that drive real value.
In this role, you will engage with CKEditor AI & Cloud Services, internal tooling, and collaborative projects, pinpointing opportunities where AI or automation can make a tangible impact. You will conceptualize, design, and execute solutions from inception to deployment.
A critical aspect of your responsibilities will include enhancing our software development processes. You will architect and implement intelligent workflows and AI-assisted development systems to optimize how our engineers code, review, test, and maintain software.
We seek a senior engineer who not only builds AI systems for others but also integrates AI into their own engineering practices, navigating through ambiguity and progressing from problem identification to architectural design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Address high-impact challenges across products and internal systems, recognizing opportunities for AI and automation to generate authentic value.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to comprehend issues, clarify objectives, and define optimal strategies.
Design and implement comprehensive, pragmatic solutions from architecture to production-ready systems.
Construct systems involving large language models (LLMs), integrations, and complex or intelligent workflows.
Make informed engineering decisions regarding model selection, orchestration, evaluation, performance, cost, reliability, security, and maintainability.
Produce high-quality production code, develop prototypes, and evolve them into robust, scalable solutions.
Influence technical direction across teams, establish best practices, and guide others in the effective adoption of AI technologies.
