What does the role entail?
We are seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer who brings a blend of extensive technical knowledge and strategic insight. This position is pivotal in the design, architecture, and delivery of cutting-edge, highly available, secure, and performant systems within cloud environments. You will spearhead large-scale DevOps initiatives, from establishing reference architectures to automating intricate CI/CD pipelines, steering both business and engineering teams toward resilient, scalable, and cost-effective solutions. As the technical leader in cloud operations, automation, and infrastructure security, you will establish best practices, mentor teams, and foster continuous improvement across AWS, Azure, and other emerging technologies.
How will you contribute?
- Design, architect, and implement highly available, performant, and secure system architectures and automation solutions.
- Implement, maintain, and enhance Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments.
- Lead initiatives to define, design, and implement DevOps solutions, including reference architectures, estimations, and costing.
- Possess expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience managing databases like MySQL, MongoDB, Postgres, and RDS.
- Guide business and technology leaders in translating client infrastructure and automation requirements into actionable technological solutions.
- Engage in customer workshops and deliver presentations of proposed solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on DevOps best practices pertinent to AWS and Azure.
- Analyze and implement best practices and emerging concepts in DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, and Enterprise Security.
- Act as a technical liaison between clients and service engineering teams.
- Conduct reviews and audits of existing solutions, designs, and system architectures, and participate in annual security audits.
- Provide guidance on best practices in monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting.
- Create technical documentation and mentor team members.
