In this leadership position, you will oversee the design and architecture of critical initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of solutions. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to delivery teams on architectural choices to ensure compliance with solution agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to refine requirements and create effective solutions while engaging with technical stakeholders.
- Lead complex data programs, addressing architectural challenges and empowering delivery teams to meet established standards within stipulated timelines and budgets.
- Offer client-facing technical leadership and insights on data architecture, engineering, and analytics, assisting clients in realizing their data strategies.
- Engage with client counterparts from the enterprise architecture group, steering the delivery, alignment, and approval of significant architectural decisions and methodologies.
- Effectively communicate both high-level and detailed technical aspects of data architecture to engineers and business stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively at the intersection of analytical and operational architecture, influencing and guiding teams.
- Design technical frameworks for data governance, security, and privacy to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Integrate data quality frameworks and processes to meet strategic requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Represent ThoughtWorks at various online and offline forums, including conferences and events.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proven experience in defining and implementing various types of data architecture, evaluating trade-offs, and establishing technology stacks for diverse architectural needs.
- Demonstrated experience in designing application system architecture leveraging big data, artificial intelligence, and related technologies.
