Your Role:
We are seeking a Principal Engineer who will spearhead the development of cutting-edge algorithms and methodologies for sensor decision-making and sense-making. This includes areas ranging from signal detection and classification to cognitive electronic warfare and beyond. You will guide interdisciplinary teams, mentor fellow researchers, and collaborate with diverse groups across multiple STR campuses. Your role will involve understanding customer missions and crafting proposals and program plans that address their immediate and future needs.
Your Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with clients to discern their unique requirements and national security priorities, tailoring our solutions to achieve their objectives.
- Lead projects and oversee multi-disciplinary teams.
- Design and implement advanced signal processing and machine learning techniques to address intricate radar and RF sensing and counter-sensing issues.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and take a lead role in proposal writing, significantly influencing the trajectory of our projects and organization.
