Role Overview
As a Principal Field Engineer, you will be the senior technical leader for Materialize’s most intricate and strategic customer engagements. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, you will shape the way large organizations assess, adopt, and expand Materialize across various teams and use cases. Alongside owning the technical strategy for key accounts, you will significantly contribute to scaling the Field Engineering function. Your role will include defining best practices, mentoring fellow Field Engineers, and setting technical standards that guide Materialize’s market approach. This is a hands-on position for an individual who aims to lead by example while amplifying impact across the organization.
Field Engineers report directly to the Vice President of Customer Success. This role is based in our NYC office near Astor Place, with an expectation of being in the office at least three days a week.
