Shield AI is on the lookout for a Principal Fuel Systems Engineer to spearhead the architecture, development, and validation of cutting-edge fuel systems for our advanced AI-powered aircraft. In this key role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of fuel system design, from initial concept to flight testing, while providing mentorship to peers and championing technical excellence across our expanding fleet of air vehicles.
You will face significant challenges, such as facilitating efficient long-endurance flight, optimizing aircraft center of gravity, and developing robust, certifiable systems that operate impeccably under extreme conditions.
While on-site or hybrid work is preferred, we are open to considering remote arrangements for exceptionally qualified candidates, requiring up to 25% travel.
