You'll engage in monitoring, analyzing, reporting, and crafting technical proposals that influence product interoperability and cutting-edge features.
In this role, you will collaborate with international teams within KIOXIA and engage with customers and competitors alike to align product development with industry standards. Your contributions will drive the standardization of KIOXIA’s groundbreaking features, enhancing speed, capacity, and security across various applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the establishment and implementation of KIOXIA’s standardization strategy across the Enterprise, Client, and Datacenter storage segments.
- Act as a principal technical contributor representing KIOXIA in standards committees and technical forums.
- Drive the creation and advancement of technical proposals within relevant standards organizations.
- Facilitate internal technical alignment among Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure that standards efforts support product roadmaps and customer needs.
- Evaluate external technical proposals and guide internal positioning and response strategies.
- Engage with customers, suppliers, and industry partners to influence standards development and achieve consensus.
- Oversee standards documentation, proposal tracking, and internal knowledge sharing.
- Enhance KIOXIA’s visibility and technical leadership through active participation in standards initiatives.
- Identify emerging standards bodies and technologies where KIOXIA can take a leadership role.
- Organize and lead regular internal standards review meetings, including setting agendas, tracking decisions, and following up on action items.
