About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer - Structural and Vibration Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will engage in comprehensive analyses of advanced hardware for military jet and rotary-wing aircraft. The successful candidate will possess a solid foundation in structural and vibration analysis, along with expertise in thermal and CFD modeling, familiarity with military environmental standards, and experience with opto-mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Mechanical Analysis Engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Conduct in-depth structural, vibration, and modal analyses of aerospace hardware to ensure reliability and adherence to design and environmental standards.
Perform shock and dynamic analyses, encompassing both steady-state and transient vibration scenarios.
Execute CFD analyses to assess system performance during critical fluid flow events.
Create finite element models and simulations with ANSYS Workbench, ensuring analytical results align with test data.
Design and analyze electronic packaging and structural components tailored for extreme operational conditions.
Collaborate closely with Mechanical, Optical, Electrical, Product, and Systems Engineering teams to produce integrated, flight-ready hardware.
Guarantee compliance with relevant military and aerospace standards, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-516, AS9100, and MMPDS specifications.
Assist in the development of environmental test procedures and oversee testing programs.
