Role Overview
The Principal Mission Operations Engineer will work onsite in Cape Canaveral, Florida. This role focuses on launch automation, vehicle systems, and launch day Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for the Nova launch vehicle. The position suits someone who combines deep experience in software engineering with strong knowledge of aerospace propulsion systems, tanks, and structures.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement launch day automation systems for the Nova vehicle
- Coordinate closely with engineering teams across disciplines
- Oversee the transition from ground operations to launch, flight, and handover to orbital or recovery operations
