This position is based at our headquarters in McLean, VA, where our team works in-office from Monday to Friday. Candidates not currently residing in the area should be prepared to relocate as a condition of employment.
Your Role:
Lead the entire design process, from problem identification and project scoping to user flow mapping, wireframing, and delivering pixel-perfect designs to product and engineering teams.
Collaborate closely with your cross-functional team (product managers and engineers) to define project scopes, design methodologies, and timelines.
Utilize Figma proficiently for design tasks, including prototype development and testing.
Manage and maintain organized design files and collaborative workspaces.
Contribute to our evolving design system.
Your Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to articulate strong rationales for design decisions, effectively influencing peers and senior leaders.
Design choices informed by thorough research and data analysis.
Proven collaborator with product managers, engineering teams, and fellow designers.
Exceptional communication skills, both visually and verbally.
Strategic thinker: Capable of understanding the holistic view of design systems and their interconnected components.
