Are You Ready to Challenge the Limits?Here’s Our Ideal Candidate Profile:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with membership in MICE or MIStructE. The successful candidate should ideally demonstrate:Proven expertise in specialized areas relevant to the engineering field, with a solid track record of effectively applying specialized knowledge. Ability to provide strategic guidance based on extensive project experience across a diverse portfolio, directing and influencing projects and programs. Leadership skills in a core engineering function, responsible for managing resources and expertise. Experience within the Nuclear Sector, including both new build and decommissioning projects, in roles necessitating professional engineering expertise.

Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and dependability of nuclear facilities and infrastructure. Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and oversee structural engineering projects through each phase, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and project schedules.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to a team of engineers, promoting a cooperative and innovative work atmosphere.
  • Perform comprehensive structural analysis and design, including seismic and stress assessments, to deliver resilient engineering solutions.
  • Examine and validate engineering designs, drawings, and calculations to ensure precision and compliance with safety and quality benchmarks.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to incorporate structural engineering solutions within the overall project framework.
  • Draft and present technical reports, proposals, and suggestions to clients and senior leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, codes, and guidelines relevant to nuclear structural engineering.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of engineering practices, methodologies, and processes within the organization.
