Reporting to: Head of Process
Role Purpose:
As a Process Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring accountability within our teams. Your primary goal will be to empower operational teams by developing new processes and refining existing ones. The successful candidate will be a data-driven professional with exceptional skills in data analysis, project management, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of business requirements and processes.
- Collaborate with business leaders to assess current processes, identify gaps, and anticipate changes.
- Facilitate efficiency improvements through process mapping and opportunity identification.
- Design and implement systems for operational teams utilizing Google Cloud Platform.
- Provide initial training and ongoing support to ensure operational teams achieve self-sufficiency.
- Conduct experiments and analyses to quantitatively determine best practices.
Qualifications (Required):
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Strong skills in spreadsheet management.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as:
- Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems.
- Experience with dashboarding and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with Python programming.
Your Journey to Becoming a Rockstar Process Analyst:
- Weeks 1-2: Immersion in the business environment through shadowing various departments and learning how different functions interconnect.
- Weeks 3-4: Collaborate with experienced process analysts on ongoing system development and optimization projects. Potential internship with our analytics team to enhance your data skills and familiarize yourself with GCP.
- Months 2-3: Take ownership of a project from inception to completion, supported by your manager and team.
Life as a Process Analyst:
Engage in daily morning huddles, weekly one-on-ones with your manager, and regular collaboration with operational teams. Enjoy a flexible work environment with the option to work from home one day per week and occasional travel (approximately 10%).
