Job Purpose

The Process Control System Specialist plays a critical role by providing advanced technical support, optimization, and reliability for process control and automation systems. This position is dedicated to enhancing plant performance through in-depth control system analysis, effective troubleshooting, system upgrades, and the deployment of advanced control strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert assistance for process control systems such as DCS, PLC, and SCADA.

  • Monitor and enhance automation and control system performance to boost plant efficiency and reliability.

  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis for control system failures.

  • Facilitate the implementation of advanced process control (APC) strategies and automation enhancements.

  • Engage in control system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.

  • Ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety regulations, and operational protocols.

  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve system reliability and overall plant performance.

  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers and technical teams as needed.
