Requirements:Proven experience in process engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or assembly context related to parking cameras. Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering). Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and planning capabilities. Willingness to travel regularly to partners in Southeast Asia (Philippines).

Join our dynamic team at Catenon as a Process Engineer based in our Barcelona headquarters. You will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives for our manufacturing plant located in Southeast Asia, focusing primarily on enhancing cost efficiency, product quality, and production throughput.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive process documentation, including flowcharts and operator manuals, for all products transitioned to manufacturing.
  • Identify, assess, and apply cost-saving strategies and procedural enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the New Product Development (NPD) team to design and implement production methods that align with cost, quality, and output targets for both new and existing products.
  • Conduct root cause analyses, develop corrective action plans, and utilize quality tools to drive improvements.
  • Engage with various engineering disciplines to innovate and refine design and process methodologies for enhanced quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure all improvement activities comply with established methods, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Recommend and execute enhancements to current processes, tooling, components, and equipment.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies, materials, equipment, and best practices; provide training to department staff and key plant personnel.
  • Evaluate proposals from external suppliers regarding the acquisition or modernization of production and processing equipment.
  • Develop, implement, and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both new and existing processes, and deliver training as necessary to technicians, operators, and support staff.
  • Contribute to Manufacturing Quality certification efforts by observing operational procedures and ensuring proper equipment maintenance through Preventive Maintenance (PM) practices.
  • Provide technical support for prototype development and assembly.
