What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our Clearing & Settlement team, you will play a key role in ensuring timely settlements within Operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring settlements with various domestic brokers and banks related to securities transfers and tax data.
- Investigating discrepancies and coordinating with relevant teams or brokers for necessary corrections.
- Proactively engaging with counterparties and relevant groups to resolve any settlement or tax issues.
- Performing settlements, particularly for cross-border securities transfers and establishing Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs).
- Addressing issues arising from unmatched items and implementing long-term solutions.
- Documenting exceptions to assist the development team in creating smooth automated processes.
- Supporting Product Managers in defining functional requirements for new processes.
- Participating in projects, system improvements, and testing activities.
