About the Internship
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Procurement team. This role offers an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement operations while assisting the Procurement Manager and team in daily tasks, documentation management, vendor coordination, and data administration. The successful candidate will develop a solid understanding of procurement procedures, compliance standards, and best practices within a global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day procurement activities, including issuing purchase orders and obtaining quotations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain and organize procurement records and documentation, including purchase orders and contracts.
- Assist in vendor management processes, including supplier registration, due diligence checks, and performance monitoring.
- Follow up on procurement requests and inquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to address procurement-related challenges.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate procurement processes.
- Support ad-hoc procurement tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors or managers.
