The Procure-to-Pay (P2P) team at DoorDash is pivotal in facilitating the company's scalable growth by enhancing how teams source, onboard, and pay suppliers. We work collaboratively with various departments, including Sourcing, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Security, to ensure smooth procurement operations while optimizing systems and user experience. As DoorDash expands through growth and acquisitions, our team is essential in establishing robust and consistent P2P processes.
About the Role
We are in search of a Procurement Manager to oversee daily procurement operations and manage our procurement team based in Mexico City. This role integrates leadership, operational execution, and analytical skills to ensure prioritization of tasks, adherence to processes, and visibility of performance metrics. You will be instrumental in fostering connections among the CDMX team, fellow procurement managers, Accounts Payable leadership, and BPO partners, driving alignment, transparency, and continual improvement.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounts Payable within our Finance organization, you'll have a direct impact on our procurement strategies.

- Oversee daily procurement operations, ensuring all requests are processed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with established guidelines.
- Guide the Mexico City procurement team by establishing priorities, managing workloads, and mentoring team members for consistent execution.
- Develop and maintain operational reports to showcase strengths, identify gaps, assess risks, and track trends in procurement operations.
- Evaluate workflows and data to pinpoint opportunities for process standardization, automation of manual tasks, or delegating work to BPO partners in India.
- Act as a central point of coordination between the CDMX team, other procurement managers, Accounts Payable leadership, and BPO teams to ensure clarity and accountability.
- Adopt a highly customer-centric approach to problem resolution.
- Be adaptable to ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Educate and influence internal stakeholders on best practices for purchasing.
