Avery Dennison RBIS Indonesia collaborates with customers who export apparel, footwear, home textiles, and sports goods. Our manufacturing facilities are located in BIIE Lippo Cikarang, West Java, and Candi Industrial Estate, Semarang, Central Java, while our customer base extends throughout the country.
Your Role
The Procurement Manager will lead the company's procurement operations, focusing on the centralized acquisition of subcontractors, equipment, materials, services, and supplies, including raw materials vital for the production of Avery Dennison products.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement procurement strategies and policies to guide purchasing personnel within the organization.
- Manage the procurement of services and supplies essential for organizational operations, including machinery, equipment, tools, and raw materials.
- Evaluate proposals regarding pricing, delivery time, and quality; select and approve suppliers.
- Support the initiation and promotion of cost-reduction projects while monitoring the cost-efficiency, schedule adherence, and performance of major subcontractors.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify material needs and meet supply schedules.
- Utilize RFIs/RFPs, leveraging, and benchmarking to achieve business results and competitive advantages; establish and manage relevant agreements.
- Research and develop sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
- Analyze suppliers and market trends to uncover opportunities for competitive advantage and innovative ideas for products, processes, and services.
- Gather competitive intelligence regarding materials, technologies, supply chains, and sourcing strategies to benchmark against competitors.
