Excellent written communication skills; you will be drafting documents intended for external partners, not just for internal use. Highly organized and detail-oriented; precision is essential in contract tracking and proposal assembly. Comfortable with uncertainty; we are building our procedures as we go, and your input will be invaluable. A genuine curiosity for robotics, artificial intelligence, or industrial technology; you don't need to be an expert but should be eager to learn about our products and their significance.

About the job

About Flexion Robotics:

At Flexion Robotics, we are at the forefront of developing the intelligence layer that will drive the next generation of humanoid robots. Our goal is to facilitate the shift from fragile prototypes to the real-world deployment of humanoid technologies. Founded by top scientists specializing in robot reinforcement learning, including former experts from Nvidia and ETH Zürich, and backed by prominent international venture capital firms, we have quickly progressed from our initial coding phase to showcasing real humanoid capabilities in collaboration with our partners. The Internship Role:

Join us as a Product & Commercial Operations Intern, where you will collaborate closely with the Product Lead on various initiatives, including customer discovery, partnership operations, and proposal preparation. This role offers you direct exposure to genuine customer dialogues, active contract processes, and strategic decision-making regarding opportunity pursuits. While your tasks will be operational and detail-oriented, you will be situated within a strategic context, providing you with a front-row seat to how an early-stage robotics company successfully brings a highly technical product to market.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare briefing documents and conduct research prior to discovery calls with prospective customers and partners.
  • Organize and maintain pipeline tracking, including deal statuses, contacts, notes, and next steps.
  • Assist in assembling proposals for Proof of Concepts (PoCs) by consolidating technical specifications, scope descriptions, and commercial terms from existing templates and previous engagements.
  • Draft follow-up communications and coordinate schedules with external stakeholders.
  • Help manage contract documents, track redline versions, and maintain status overviews during negotiation cycles.
  • Compile and format contractual exhibits, milestone descriptions, and acceptance criteria based on input from the Product Lead and engineering team.
  • Research potential customers and competitors; summarize findings into concise internal briefs.
  • Contribute to structuring and maintaining internal documentation, including partnership summaries, process templates, and decision logs.
  • Identify opportunities to develop repeatable templates and streamlined processes where ad hoc methods are currently in use.
