About ENS Labs
The Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a revolutionary, decentralized naming system operating on the Ethereum blockchain. It allows human-readable names (such as "myname.eth") to be associated with standard Ethereum addresses and various distributed systems.
As an early pioneer in the Ethereum protocol landscape, ENS has facilitated the registration of over 3 million .eth names and more than 20 million ENS names through partnerships with notable teams like Coinbase, Uniswap, and Linea, alongside integrations with numerous applications, wallets, protocols, and browsers within the crypto ecosystem.
Since 2018, ENS Labs has been at the forefront of developing the ENS protocol, creating the ENS application, open-source libraries, and essential smart contracts. Our mission is to make crypto-driven experiences as accessible and straightforward as browsing the web. Join us as we innovate the next iteration of our protocol, ENSv2, shaping a more decentralized, adaptable, and scalable future for ENS.
