We are in search of a strategic and technically adept Product Line Lead (PLL) to spearhead the vision, roadmap, and technical direction for our cutting-edge radar technology portfolio. This position is perfect for a leader who excels at merging engineering prowess with product management and mission execution.

The PLL will oversee the entire radar product lifecycle, from conception to end-of-life, ensuring that our offerings not only meet customer specifications but also remain relevant and competitive within the defense and aerospace industries.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Formulate and uphold product line strategies that reflect customer needs, market dynamics, and our organizational capabilities.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive roadmap for radar systems and subsystems, addressing both current and emerging mission requirements.
  • Convert strategic visions into tangible technical development plans.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Lead cross-functional teams through product development, production transitions, and ongoing sustainment activities.
  • Guarantee that products fulfill cost, performance, and schedule goals, exercising significant autonomy from the Market Segment Lead.
  • Manage configuration control, risk assessment, and lifecycle optimization for radar systems.

Capture & Proposal Support

  • Collaborate with business development teams to identify, shape, and secure new opportunities.
  • Lead or assist in proposal development and RFI responses, ensuring robust technical strategies, competitive positioning, and alignment with client expectations.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Facilitate cooperation across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program management teams.
  • Drive teamwork, address technical and programmatic challenges, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Directly engage with customers and end-users to understand mission requirements and technical needs.
  • Work alongside program managers to focus on the execution and innovation of radar product strategies.

Technology Stewardship

  • Stay abreast of advancements in radar and RF technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into product design and architecture.
