Your Role
As a pivotal member of our dynamic team, you will lead the development of Otter’s data products, the backbone that enables restaurants to analyze, anticipate, and enhance their operational performance. You will take ownership of complete product outcomes within a diverse portfolio that encompasses analytics, real-time monitoring, alerts, operational insights, and data integrity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Transforming operator challenges into innovative solutions that distill complex, multi-channel data into clear, actionable insights.
- Enhancing data reliability by collaborating with platform, data, and finance teams to ensure freshness, accuracy, data lineage, and metric definitions, making our products the trusted source for operators.
- Focusing on deliverables that prevent revenue loss, identify issues, and drive tangible operational enhancements.
- Creating scalable and rapid solutions that facilitate new use cases without the need for bespoke work.
- Engaging cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Go-To-Market, and Customer teams to iteratively develop and rapidly learn from product iterations.
- Taking responsibility for outcomes, defining success metrics, and driving improvements in adoption, engagement, customer satisfaction, data service level agreements, and revenue impact.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or a closely related field, focusing on data/analytics, platforms, or operational tools.
- Proven track record of delivering insight-driven products (such as dashboards, alerts, and workflows) that have achieved measurable business outcomes.
- Strong data fluency with proficiency in SQL, metrics design, and experiment/impact analysis; capable of deep collaboration with data science and engineering teams.
- Exceptional product judgment and UX instincts; adept at distinguishing between informative and actionable insights while designing for busy operators.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
