About the Role
We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associates to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of energy by actively participating in the assembly of our advanced battery storage systems on our production lines.
Your primary responsibilities will include mechanical assembly, adhering strictly to work instructions, and ensuring that every unit meets our stringent quality standards. This role is not only hands-on and physically engaging but also demands reliability, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate production machinery and equipment, guaranteeing consistent output across all products.
- Assemble battery systems and sub-assemblies on the manufacturing production line, following comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct visual inspections of parts and finished units to detect defects or inconsistencies, ensuring that products meet quality standards before advancing to the next stage.
- Load and unload materials onto the production line, and assist in kitting job kits while organizing components to facilitate a smooth workflow.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe workstation in compliance with 5S standards and adhere to all safety regulations, including the consistent use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements to enhance assembly efficiency.
- Exhibit flexibility to adapt to shift changes and work overtime as needed to support Base’s continuous growth.
What You'll Bring
- Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, or a warehouse setting is preferred; familiarity with hand and power tools is a bonus. A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to stand or walk throughout the duration of a shift and lift weights between 50 to 70 lbs, with comfort in performing repetitive tasks.
