Your Role:
The Production Operator is tasked with loading component parts into automated assembly systems while adhering to stringent quality and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities Include:
- Utilizing PLEX to manage inventory, load components, record production, pack according to instructions, create labels, and document any issues with parts or machinery.
- Reporting machinery downtimes and substandard parts to Team Leaders and/or Supervisors.
- Ensuring compliance of all products with check sheets and work instructions.
- Documenting inspection outcomes and non-conformances.
- Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
- Assisting with internal and external audits as required.
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities in quality and processes.
- Cross-training on various work centers as necessary.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Schedule:
This is a 2nd Shift position from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday, at our facility in Walker, MI. Occasionally, you may need to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends to meet customer demands or urgent requests.
