We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Production Supervisor to join our team at the KHA factory in Springfield, Ohio. This position involves overseeing both material handling and production staff, encompassing responsibilities across warehousing and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the workflow processes to ensure quality production and timely delivery, collaborating effectively with other production lines.
- Supervise departmental employees, managing work assignments, team motivation, hiring, terminations, performance reviews, training, and cross-training initiatives.
- Drive the implementation of process improvements and changes in operational areas.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Pulse and Hour-to-Hour boards, ensuring any discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Communicate essential information to employees, peers, managers, and support teams to keep everyone informed.
- Champion safety initiatives, including safety training, incident investigations, prevention measures, and establishing safe work practices.
- Support the company’s KC Way Lean Manufacturing initiatives, applying principles such as 5S, Kaizen events, and waste elimination projects.
- Perform additional duties as required.
