CRW Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Electrical Engineer, PE to become a vital part of our Anchorage team. This position offers a unique chance to engage in meaningful projects that enhance infrastructure and positively affect the lives of residents.
  • We are in search of a candidate who possesses robust technical expertise, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to shaping the future of Alaska. The ideal applicant will have a solid background in power, telecommunications, and control systems, including SCADA systems, and a genuine enthusiasm for continuous improvement. We strongly encourage candidates with RCDD certification to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement electrical systems for various Federal, municipal, and industrial projects
  • Lead project phases from initial concept through to construction completion
  • Mentor junior engineers and effectively delegate technical tasks
  • Conduct inspections and field visits to ensure project compliance
  • Collaborate across disciplines and engage with external stakeholders
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of codes, standards, and best practices tailored for Arctic and rural environments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
  • RCDD certification is preferred
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in:
    • Lighting and facility controls
    • Telecommunications
    • Power generation and distribution
    • Pumping systems and industrial controls
    • Water/wastewater, lighting, telecom, and controls
    • Familiarity with UFC/USGS standards, Arctic design, and hazardous locations
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for field work
